21 Days And Counting!

Hello Everyone,

Yes,  we are on the 21 day count down starting today!  James and I were able to cover a lot of ground the past few days and despite me not feeling well.  We have our selected Pediatrician finally, the nursery is 100% completed  and we were able to schedule the C-Section for Jan 29th.  So we have been very busy, but everything is coming together and just in just the nick of time.  I told you all that I would let you know how I was feeling at 8 months.  Boy, what a major difference from 7 months to 8 months.  There are too many changes to even comment on and some of which are not so hot, but  the biggest (hahaha) and most positive change is that I am feeling ready to welcome Baby O into the world now.  When we got the official word today from the Dr that he was scheduling us for the 29th, we were just so relieved and excited to have a plan.  I think I'm too excited to think about how scared I really am about going under the knife while awake.  So, in order to prepare I am going to get out my big girl pants and "Man Up" as James would say.  Anjoli will arrive on the 21st and be here on my 30th Birthday!  What a great way to turn 30!  I am really excited to have her here with me and I know she will be a great help and distraction from my fears.

This was taken back in 2007 at the construction site at James' job.
I was just kidding around, but this is my motivaion to "Man Up"
And it makes me laugh.

Here I am 3 years later and over 8 months along.
Cheer! Only 3 weeks to go!

Love,
Amanda & James

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

We had a very low key Christmas just James, the dogs and myself.  We opened a few gifts and had a nice breakfast at home, before heading over to Nora and Danny's for Christmas dinner.  It was a very relaxing day and from what everyone says, Christmas and the Holiday's will never be the same once the little guy arrives.  However, we are looking forward to those late nights, when we get to build toys with tiny screw drivers and set  traps to keep him from snooping on Santa.

We hope you all had a Merry Christmas
and we wish you all the best in 2010!

Love,
Amanda & James
