Halloween Party

Owen's first Halloween was so much fun!  Well it was more fun for James and I.  Turns out 9 month olds don't really care a thing about it.  Lol!  He didn't mind his costume at all. So that was good.  It was pretty comfortable for him and it gave us all a good laugh.  We went with the duck since his favorite toy is a rubber ducky.  I thought about putting a float around him, but I knew that wouldn't last.  Maybe for only a picture or two and it wasn't worth torturing him anymore than we had to.

On Saturday he had about 16 of his playmates from Mom Group and their parents over for a party.  It was a bit crazy, but enjoyable.   A good taste for what baby-kid parties will be like in the future.  But I was surprised at how smoothly it all went!  All the kids had a blast playing together.  Owen was just a bit overwhelmed and clingy since he got more shots on Friday.  He was a little confused at all the people in the house and playing with HIS toys.  We just wanted us to hold him the whole time.  He finally came out of his shell at the last hour and played with his best playmates Grace and Abigale.  He knows them pretty well now and he seemed to have fun with just a few babies. James was a good sport too and dressed up with me.  No one knew who we were when they arrived.  It was pretty funny!  We jsut pulled this stuff from the closet. Big kids we are!
